Cinema 16 film productions are dedicated to vintage restoration projects especially historic aircraft, ships and industrial facilities. Within this broad range we pay special attention on “warbird” restoration, the fascinating and historically important process of bringing military aircraft from the past, back to original flying condition.

Fortunately, over the past twenty years there has been a resurgence of interest in locating and restoring these remarkable aircraft, both as reminders of a romantic era and as lessons in history.

At Cinema 16, we are dedicated to recording these efforts and presenting the glory of both the restoration and the flying experience.

Each year, the number of vintage warplane pilots dwindles, creating an urgency to capture and present their stories. Their memories, and the reflections of those who invest so much energy and money into war-bird restoration, are an important part of our heritage.
